Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Nintendo Wii

I still marvel at all the superheroes in this game

Pros: fun to play with wii controller, lots of super heroes

Cons: graphics feel really cramped, fonts are very hard to read,voice acting is pretty bad

The concept for this great is probably one of the best I've seen in a long time. The execution of this game is a little less than fulfilling. I have a big screen tv that I play this on, and even with all that screen real estate, it is easy to g...et your characters lost in the game. The fonts are impossible to read (even on a big screen!) With that out of the way, this game is still pretty fun. Where else can you play as Spider Man, Thor, Iron Man, and Captain America all at once? Your team is made up of four supers, and at various points you can change out your team. I can't name all the supers, but there are a bunch! The story line is pretty dumb; and the game is pretty much a button masher. With the wii, you are waving your controller like a mad man, so that is fun. All in all, I'd recommend this game, especially if you are a nostalgic comic book reader. Read more Less
