    100 Worst Movies Ever

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jul 1, 2003 | 0 out of 1 found this Mannequin (1987) review helpful

For my Masters in Film and Cinema degree I wrote a thesis on the what could be the 100 worst movies ever made. Mannequin is number 26 on my list. This film is awful and anyone who actually thinks this movie is good has got to be on heroin. Two thumbs down for this movie.

    How class is this film.?

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jun 5, 2003 | 1 out of 2 found this Mannequin (1987) review helpful

I think Mannequin is the greatest movie of the eighties. Andrew McCarthy and Kim Cattrell were a perfect match for this film. There will never be a movie that will beat it. Andrew McCarthy is an angel in disguise and Kim Cattrell is a blessing. If you don't own this film or have never seen it before it is a crime to all movie buffs. Then again if you haven't seen this film and you do call yourself a movie buff then there is something wrong with you and you need to move your butt along to M.V.C in Wolverhampton and buy it on dvd for £11.79. Greatest movie ever.!

Number one film of all time!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Apr 30, 2002

I love the way that they make the mannequin come to life and then freeze when people look at her and then in the end she comes back to life perminetly. The gay guy was funny too... I love how they just make fun of homos instead of pretending that they are real people (because they aren't). Speaking of homos... Did anyone watch Titantic.

    Emmy

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jun 28, 2001

I've always wanted to watch this movie since l've heard its hit soundtrack "Nothing's gonna stop us now" but when I had occasion to watch it,it turned out to be just a comedy that didn't have any reasonable development of the character Emmy. She just turns to be human, pretty one, and spends her happy days with Jonathan and the two live happily ever after in the end.In fact the movie doesn't have something that we can catch but I think it's funny
enough, like any other movies of eighties( the sequel is pretty bad since it's like copying the first part.)

    A Shining example of romantic-comedy

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Mar 25, 2000

This IS the one of the best movies, that should be hard for an 80's romantic comedy flick, with a medium budget, & no special effetcs. But it capture your heart, will have you laughing evey time felix Maxwell enters(G.W.Bailey)the style of Hollywood, stright playing James Spader and the georgeous Kim Cattral, this is a movie everybvody should watch once, one of the best made movies ever made. (and yes that is including Stars Wars)
