Synopsis: Man s Best Friend (1993)

While they're investigating a story about the abuse and torture of lab animals during genetic experiments, a TV journalist and her camerawoman innocently unleash a specially engineered dog who is sedated. Depending on who is handling him, when the sedative wears off the dog will either act heroically to save those or in danger.... or kill anyone who crosses his path....

    All and all, the plot is pretty weak, but therest ofthe movie is frightening. With goodperformances by Ally Sheedy and Lance Henrikson. The dog victoms are nicely killed off. The deaths are all gory, and there is even a pretty amusing scene where max... "the killer dog" swallows a cat whole. Read more Less

    MAN'S BEST FRIEND is the best killer animal movie. It has an awesome plot. Good scares. Max (the dog) is the best looking killer animal. It has a great end to it. Everything is off the hooks!
