    Pros: lightweight

    Cons: constant repairs

    This saw really is a piece of junk. The constant repairs and downtime have made this saw unusable for me. I am a finish carpenter and need a reliable saw daily. I bought this saw because I move from job to job and this thing is very light. Also the old 8" Makita saws were excellent and I expected the same quality from this unit. I lost an hour of time yesterday trying to fix a part I had just replaced about 2 months ago. I almost threw it out the window but I figured I would replace the broken part AGAIN and keep it around the house for a spare. I am going to buy the Bosch. This saw would be a great portable tablesaw for a homeowner but not a professional.
