In this installment, Harry has been taken off the homicide beat, but murder still follows him in his new job handling stakeouts. He and partner Early (Felton Perry) investigate a series of deaths that take them from a former murder suspect to a top man in the mafia to a pimp. Ted Post, who previously worked with Eastwood on HANG 'EM HIGH, reunites with the actor for this action-packed sequel to DIRTY HARRY.

    A good sequel to Dirty Harry...

    Magnum Force is a great action film about police corruption and how Harry handles it-with .44 Justice! This movie could have done well on its own without being a sequel. This time instead of chasing criminals Harry has to take on the entire police fo...rce! Its a tough job but somebody has to take out the garbage, Why not Harry? Read more Less

    and introduction to film careers for young David Soul and Robert Urich among others. In contrast to the nineties, the filmmakers did not feel obliged to stuff obscenities into every other sentence
