Pros: Jason is a lyrical mastermind
Cons: The music isn't mainstream yet
Believers in love and true feelings listen up, I will let you in on a little secret I like to call Jason Reeves. If you feel like you've been searching relentlessly for some good decent music with no luck, you've just struck gold. Some of you may have already heard of Jason Reeves through Colbie Caillat's platinum Coco album featuring the hit song "Bubbly" co-written by Jason himself, but what you didn't know if he has his own album filled with fresh new music, all self-written. Jason Reeves hands down receives my vote for Best New Artist of 2007 because of his poetic lyrics, raw talent, and peaceful composure.
His CD, "The Magnificent Adventures of Heartache" features fifteen original tracks and one bonus track. "Pretty Eyes", the song I credit as the one that made me fall head over heels for Jason's music, like much of the CD, creates beautiful pictures in my mind whenever I listen to it. "Entwined", "Just Friends", and "Reaching" are also a few favorites of mine.
Years back, I stumbled upon Jason's myspace and have been hooked ever since. Two or so years after my first discovery he is now gaining popularity at a rapid speed. It is only a matter of time before Jason's talent hits mainstream radio and he will be heard around the globe. So now is your chance to be on the cutting edge, to be that cool friend that knows about all the cool musicians before they make it big. Order Jason Reeve's "The Magnificent Adventures of Heartache" and receive it just in time for the holidays. ...
