Finding much popularity in his home country, Norwegian singer/songwriter and multiinstrumentalist Even Johansen is Magnet, who as an adolescent adopted the name after a bizarre incident which left him cured of anemia. Along with a series of EPs, Johansen's catalog includes Quiet Still (2000), On Your Side (2003), the Tourniquet (2005) and the Simple Life (2007). Magnet's touring highlights include being a guest of Doves, Zero 7, Royksopp, Kings of Convenience and South.
