The Magic Bullet comes with two blades: a Cross Blade for chopping, grating and blending foods such as onions, cheeses, meats and frozen drinks, and a Flat Blade for whipping cream and grinding hard foods like coffee beans and spices. Both blades are are made of stainless steel, so they are dishwasher safe and never need sharpening.
The unique bullet shape of these cups is the secret to the effectiveness of the Magic Bullet. The Short Cup is ideal for making dips and party foods like homemade fat-free bean dip, or zesty guacamole and the Tall Cup is even more versatile...just toss in fresh fruit, ice and a splash of fruit juice and the Magic Bullet becomes a personal smoothie machine, pulverizing the ice and giving you a perfect, nutritious smoothie or meal replacement fat loss drink in 8 seconds. Plus, each container is microwave safe and dishwasher safe. That means you can prepare all your meals, then cook them and store the leftovers in the same cup!
Your Magic Bullet comes with two Shaker/Steamer Tops that are used for steaming foods in the microwave, or as shaker tops. Cons: Wears Out Fast
I wore it out in about two months of using it every day to make a breakfast smoothie.
When I contacted the factory about a local service center for repairs, the factory said I would have to send it to them. That is to much trouble so I would not buy this product again.

My roomate and I were so excited to receive a magic bullet for Christmas. We had seen the infomerrcial enough times to practically have it memorized. Before using the bullet, we read the complete instruction and recipe guide. The Bullet worked great for about 3 weeks and we used it several times a day. One day I started to notice bits of plastic were coming of the blades. The bullet began to run more sluggish and didn't turn off as it was suppossed. Then about a week later, it stopped working altogether. My roomate tried messing around with the mechanism that runs the blades but it appears to stick on for a few moments and lock up. For the price the gift-giver paid, the bullet should last much longer. ...
