A good GPS, but nothing spectacular.

I've used this GPS, in Charlotte,NC, for over a year now, and it had outdated maps from the beginning. Points of interest are minimal. GPS is sometimes confused on a main road in Charlotte and it reroutes me back and forth! Kinda weird.
Other than that it has been a dependable GPS. It is great when I'm tired and just need to find a route as it talk me through the drive. Good GPS for the price.Was this review helpful? Yes - Noim impressed

took me to where i wanted to go no problems..

Pros: Talks me thru driving with notice

I love my Maggie! She gave me great help avoiding a terrible accident on an interstate - by detouring around it. Saved me hours in a traffic stop
I have started using it near my home when driving in less familiar areas - especially when I am tired.
I love that she talks to me and gives me he names of the road I am driving on.
Haven't needed any support so I can't comment on that

Pros: Easy to use, potable, low cost
Cons: Insufficient POI, outdated map, destination way off track
I've used at least 5 brand of GPS. So i know which GPS is good in which area.
The following is my experience of Magellan 2200T.
I used it in San Francisco. The map is 2005 map i guess because it doesn't have a new freeway exit, which is "Octavia Court Exit" which was opened in early 2006.
Many addresses are way off, For example, I go to the address 500, 8th ave., but the unit takes me to 400 block instead of 500 block. It's just an example. I couldn't remember which street exactly is the mistakes. It happened to me 5 addresses in a month.
It have very poor POI because it doesn't even have Costco, Bestbuy, circuit city or 24 hour fitness. Try it if you doubt it.
Overall Easy to use if you can bear the above mentioned problems.Was this review helpful? Yes - Nohi

paid $299 at costco. Very impressive. One thing I really like is that it says the street names (unlike my stock honda one that says "make second right" instead of street name). I haven't messed with the other points of interest like restrants or anything like that so I can't comment on that.
