Handspring Visor what you canexpect

Pros: Wonderful portability, battery lasts long on a single charge.

Cons: It's no replacement for a laptop computer

I own the Handspring Visor Prism. This can be an impressive device of you have the right springboard modules to take full advantage of your PDA's capabilities. Without the expansion module it's not much more than an over sized, overpriced calculator. The first thing I really like about my prism is the bright and easy to read LCD display, it's just like having a high definition flat screen TV in the palm of your hand. I also like how long the battery lasts on a single charge. Amazing, I can go for a couple of days before I need a recharge.
The "Eyemodule" digital camera is surprisingly clear.Unlike Windows computers you don't have to click on an icon and wait for windows to tell you it's safe to eject hardware. You just unplug/plug modules whenever you want, the way modern computing should be. I love the GPS tools available for these units.Unfortunately memory is very limited, so if your going to use Prism as a digital camera, plan on unloading pictures to your PC often.
Again it's no replacement for a laptop, but if your going to invest in a handspring visor, make it worth the while and buy all the good modules, so you can truly enjoy your unit.
