Synopsis: Macario (1959)
Synopis: In this cautionary, rags to riches tale, poor Macario wants only something good to eat on the Day of the Dead. He gets his wish when his wife makes him a turkey. However, three spirits, the Devil, Death, and God, appear to him with a test. Each asks him to share the turkey, and Macario refuses all but Death. In exchange, Death gives Macario a magical bottle of water that can heal any illness. Soon, Macario becomes wealthy beyond his wildest dreams -- but at the price of getting the Inquisition involved in his affairs!Features: Macario (1959)

Cons: None. Period. It's got horrible sound, horrible picture quality, etc, etc, but man, is it worth it.
Buy this movie. Immediately. Known to many in high school Spanish classes, Macario has become a legend. Words cannot describe the sheer perfection of this movie. Be it the devil (who looks like a mariachi band member) offering Macario his silver spurs in return for a piece of chicken or Macario turning down God himself, the entire film is sheer low-budget Mexican folk-lore at its finest. ...
