    Many people badmouth MD players, for the same reason they badmouth CD players. Cause of skips. And they are right, anti-skip features do not work as they should. But, I have NEVER had a single skip with this player. I haven't jogged with it, but ...I keep it in my car, where it tends to slide around, and still... not one skip. It delivers perfect sound, a good program, and it's from the best brand for music players, IMO. You can NOT go wrong with this. It also holds more than MP3 players. You can spend money for a 32 meg player, or get a whopping 4 times the music for the same price on a single MD. And lets not forget that you can take MD's out and put another in, AND they're rewritable more than you can rewrite it. It is protected to keep dust out, thus removing fear of harm to the disk. But don't treat it like crap and then piss and moan like others do to all players. Treat it right, and it'll treat you right. Read more Less

    I was out looking for a new mp3 player when I came across Sonys MD player. It has really good sound to it. It shows the name of the song in the track window. I have been using my player for about 45 minutes each day for the past month with the origin...al battery which is still in the green. Mini disks hold as much music as an average CD. Mini disks are rewritable. and very cheap. It is impossible to scratch them also. My player has never skipped. The MG Jukebox is a little hard to use at first but easy to figure out. If your looking for a piece of the future in music products, I strongly recommend you buy a sony Mini Disk player. Read more Less
