Pretty good album
Pros: Good music
Cons: some bad songs
I saw her in concert for this cd and it was lovely. such a wonderful voice. Only bad sone is Scarborough Fair but otherwise is great.

Sarah Brightman's music has such originality. She has such a diverse range of musical artistic quality. Her "Dive" CD (including all her CD's) is a brilliant, unique, and eloquent display of more of a modern pop sound & I was really surprised when I first heard it. It's a transition from her most recent work. Eden & "Time to Say Goodbye" are also among her brilliantly creative & Angelic voice. LaLuna is absolutely the Epitome of inspirational & innovative musical originality & tranquility. The only dissapointment is that SB is not marketed in the mainstream of music. Many music lovers are very underprivilaged if they haven't been introduced to SB. She is a true talent in the musical & theatrical world.

I believe what makes Sarah's albums so engaging, interesting, and worthwhile isn't just her voice, but her choice of songs- which all goes back to her use and choice of themes.
Her albums and concerts are beautiful and captivating because she delivers a theme with every album that sucks us into a fantasy world, and music and her beautiful voice is the method by which she pulls us in.
She chose a wonderful repertoire for La Luna, and the songs all fit perfectly with her theme of the moon. Her voice is a God given gift, also. There are sopranos out there that can train for life but not come close to the control and skill of Sarah Brightman. There's just something about the way she delivers her songs that enhance her voice even more.
Her voice is clear, her tone is pure and resonant, and the theme for this album is absolutely delightful. The songs she chose are intriguing and mysterious, full of layers.Was this review helpful? Yes - Nomasterpiece

I went and saw Sarah Brightman's La Luna tour. It was great! So I went out and bought her album Eden and The Andrew Lyod Webber Collection. I must say that I did'nt think that they were that great. But last week I went out and bought La Luna, It is fantastic! I love the songs "A Whiter Shade of Pale" "Scaeborough Fair" "Winter In July" here With Me" I love all of them. The album just works so well! This album has definently made me a Sarah Brightman fan for life.

This is my first time that I buy Sarah Brigthman's album...
My favorite are : La Lune, Scarborough Fair, A Whiter Shade of Pale, He Doesn't See Me, Hijo De La Luna, Here With Me, La Califfa, This Love, Son Con Te and La Luna.
Her voice is quite beautiful and delicate. The musical arrangement is quite excellent. But still, some songs are seemed to be incomplete or finish too quickly....
I think that she should not sing blues....

I absolutely love this album! I saw the tour twice, and the combination of Sarah's powerful voice, the classic genius of the scores, and the beautiful presentation of all of the tracks is absolutely outstanding. Recommend to anyone, especially if they're first timers.

I have listened this cd much and I wonder why Sarah is so hated???? This cd and Sarah amazes me- sooo beautiful music! But why is she so hated and under-rated???!!! Not among us fans but generally..... would like to know but those who 'hate' her miss a great deal of beautiful music so really- I don't mind others opinions but I just wonder WHY Sarah is so under-rated? Her talent should be generally known. Everywhere I mention her I get critisied and bad mouth. I love Sarah's music very much.

This is a beautiful album and Sarah's voice sounds just wonderful! Her voice sweeps over the superb musical arrangements perfectly. Along with the title track, some of the highlights include, "Winter In July", "He Doesn't See Me", "A Whiter Shade of Pale" and "How Fair This Place". This is a great collection of songs that will be a good addition to any music collection! Purchase yours today! It's money well spent. Another good album to purchase is Sarah's 1993 release, "Dive". It has a different and more modern sound, but it's interesting nonetheless.

I found that this one gets better with age. when i first listened to it I really was not impressed. I thought Eden was much better. But after around the 10th time, I realized i really liked it (Even though my CD Player keeps locking up at exactly 2:22 of 'Hijo De La Luna'). Amazing CD!!!

i really liked this cd. it was very good. it was all different kinds of styles of music. her music is even better live. the concert for la luna is awesome. her voice is truly one of a kind

OMG! I walked into the Nature Store at the Mall on a beautiful day in San Francisco with my good friend Mary and heard Brightman's music. I was allured to her magical voice. I just had to have it. It's great for meditating and driving. I love this CD....It's the best! Thanks Mary for making my day.

This is the first time I heard a Sarah Brightman's album, and I was left breathless. She has one of the most beatiful voices I've ever heard, and the songs are awesome, I was specially delighted by "Winter in July", and the covers of "A Whiter Shade of Pale" and "Here With Me" were pretty good too.

Once again Sarah Brightman shows why she is considered, by thousands of fans worlwide, the real ANGEL OF MUSIC. Her new album, "LA LUNA" just reflects her absolutely fantastic capacity to mix classical and pop music.
Being the most 'pop'of her last three albums, LA LUNA mirrors her talent in completely different styles. Take, for example, GLOOMY SUNDAY and FUGLIO PERDUTO.
I had the chance to whatch her twice while she was here in Brazil, as I attended do her concert at Ibirapuera Park in Sao Paulo (organisation staff counted more than 100 thousand people went there) and then traveled 400 kms to see her again in Rio de Janeiro. Both shows were part of a AVON program called AVON WOMEN IN CONCERT. As these shows were not exactly a part of LA LUNA tour (production too big for Brazilian standards), she only sang three songs from her new CD: SCARBOROUGH FAIR, A WHITER SHIDE OF PALE and HE DOESN'T SEE ME.
Definitely, LA LUNA is to be put in everyone's "MUST BUY" list! If you thought TIMELESS was great and EDEN was perfect (and it is!), you won't find words to describe her brand new work.
And don't forget to look for the surprise track at the end!!!

LA LUNA is an excellent follow-up to EDEN. The added tracks WINTER IN JULY and A WHITER SHADE OF PALE are wonderful. Just saw her live on her new tour and she was breathtaking. Confetti cannons fired during A QUESTION OF HONOUR, the sparklers flew during A WHITER SHADE OF PALE, and she flew at least 30 feet in the air on a harness during DELIVER ME. If she comes your way, go see her! She is the best there is!
