Pros: Easy to get started, Great music

Cons: Difficult harder levels

Lumines is a game like Tertis but not quite. The game takes a while to get used to, especially if you're like me who has gotten used to palying the original gameboy tertis.

There's a variety of games, one where you can play against the computer, a challenge mode and a single player mode.

Once you've completed a level in each game, you're rewarded with a new theme. The colours of the tiles change, as well as the background and the music. In fact this is the reason why you would want to keep playing, so that you can collect all the themes available.

The best bit about the game is the single player mode, and it does require a watchful eye and a real patience to collect all the themes.

The computer mode is near impossible after a couple of levels. The challenge mode is frustratingly hard after a couple of levels.

It's a really easy game to get into, but it's not quite the addictive game that the original tetris was.

Pros: everything

Cons: nothing

Lumines is one of the greatest puzzle games ever and its also on the PSP. Although I'm not a fan of puzzle games, I absolutely loved Lumines! The easy to learn rules help, although the strategy you can use is very deep. The game does a great job soundwise with great tunes. The gameplay also affects the music too! The graphics are 2D but look great on the PSP. Lumines is a must have for PSP owners. It's highly addictive, and extremely fun.
