Upon leaving the Australian band Salamander Jim, Stuart Grey donned the identity of Stu Spasm to pursue his scatological obsessions and taste for sloppy, twisted, intentionally obnoxious horn-and-guitar rock in a band with the imaginative name of Lubricated Goat, which also included drummer Martin Bland and a revolving-door guitar/bass axis.
