    NOTHING LIKE THE ORIGINAL

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 8, 2004 | 60 out of 75 found this Loyal To The Game review helpful

    Pros: TUPAC

Cons: NOBAY ON THIS ALBUM ACTUALLY KNEW TUPAC EXCEPT THE OUTLAWZ

THIS SOUNDS NOTHING LIKE ANY OF TUPACS WORK, WHAT THIS IS IS JUST A COMPUTERIZED ALBUM WITH SOME PEOPLE THAT NEVER KNEW TUPAC AND TRYING TO MILK THE CASH COW USING HIS NAME. I AM ASHAMED THAT AFENINI WOULD LET HER SONS WORK TO BE HANDLED BY THESES PE...OPLE. ANYONE WHO KNOW PACS PEVIOUS WORK CAN TELL THIS FAKE FROM THE REAL WORK.EMINEM IS GRAET AT WHAT HE DOES AND I RESPECT HIS TALENT BUT HE DOESNT HAVE THE TOUCH TO BRING BACK THE PAC WE HAVE COME TO KNOW.P.S I HEARD THAT THEY TOOK OUT SOME OF THE ORIGINAL RAPPERS FROM SOME OF THE TRACKS AND PLACED PEOPLE LIKE OBIE TRICE AND 50 CENT ON THERE. NOT ONLY DID THEY NOT KNOW HIM, BUT THEY ARE ALSO ALTERING HIS WORK BY USING COMPUTERS. Read more Less

    The Legend Returns

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 8, 2004 | 14 out of 22 found this Loyal To The Game review helpful

    Pros: Everything

    Cons: Nothing

Tupac Shakur, the hip hop legend. A revolutionary, Poet, Actor, Lyrical master, and the best rapper there ever lived is back. Of course I haven't heard the album yet, but I'm just trying to open your views here. 2pac has had several albums co...me out. Each one has a specific feeling and mood to it.Starting with the Music. This album has about 13 songs produced by Eminem, who won an oscar for "Lose YourSelf. He also worked with Afeni Shakur, Tupac's mother. Eminem had previously worked on the "Tupac Resurrection" album. We all know the beats are going to be incredible. If you probably liked the songs produced by Eminem in the "Resurrection" CD then there is a good chance you will like this one. Now with the lyrics. 2pac is the greatest lyrical writer I personally have ever heard, and millions also agree. The lyrics are going to be amazing. He always has a certain feeling with each album. Each album has some certain hardcore songs, party songs, serious songs and etc. Here are the tracks on the album:1. Soldier Like Me (Return Of The Soulja) (Featuring Eminem) (Produced By Eminem) 2. The Uppercut (Featuring E.D.I. & Young Noble Of The Outlawz) (Produced By Eminem) 3. Out On Bail (Produced By Eminem) 4. Ghetto Gospel (Featuring Elton John) (Produced By Eminem) 5. Black Cotton (Featuring Eminem Kastro & Young Noble Of The Outlawz) (Produced By Eminem) 6. Loyal To The Game (Featuring G-Unit) (Produced By Eminem) 7. Thugs Get Lonely Too (Featuring Nate Dogg) (Produced By Eminem) 8. N.I.G.G.A. (Never Ignorant About Getting Goals) Accomplished) (Featuring Jadakiss) (Produced By Eminem) 9. Who Do You Love? (Produced By Eminem) 10. A Crooked Nigga Too (Produced By Eminem) 11. Don't You Trust Me (Produced By Eminem) 12. Hennessey (Featuring Obie Trice) (Produced By Eminem) 13. Thug For Life (Produced By Eminem) 14. Po' Nigga Blues (Featuring Ron Isley) (Produced By Scott Storch) 15. Hennessey (Featuring E.D.I. Of The Outlawz & Sleepy Brown) (Produced By Red Spyda) 16. A Crooked Nigga Too (Produced By Raphael Saadiq) 17. Loyal To The Game (Featuring Big Syke)This information is from some of the websites that know about the album and the production. Some guest artist are Aftermath/Shady/G-Unit artist. Others include the Outlawz Jadakiss and etc. (Just look above) The release date for this album is December 14, 2004. I recommend this to any of the 2pac fans, or if your just want to know see what it's like. I personally can't wait until it comes out. Don't try downloading it or burning it. Show your support for 2pac, lets make it another multi-platinum one. Label Distributor is Amuru/Interscope Records. So if you enjoy 2pac, Eminem and Shady/Aftermath/ G-Unit artist, Outlawz, and some of todays biggest rappers then I highly recommend this album. 2pac makes amazing music, and this probably will probably prove to us again that he was one of the best rappers that ever lived. By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 20, 2004 | 6 out of 7 found this Loyal To The Game review helpful

    Pros: tupac obviously!!

    Cons: the producers

in essence, this album although i've heard one track n hope to complete the album without any irritation.. but i must confess that the album doesnot justify the talent of tupac. I respect eminem, fifty cents .. but what they need to have done is... reflect upon tupacs previous beats and understand what makes it a tupac record. Eminem flows with eminem..tupac cannot flow with eminem... until they realise that principle they will fail to produce that fullest potential of tupac lyrics and style. rest in peace tupac amaru shakur Read more Less

    Major Dissapointment

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 14, 2004 | 5 out of 6 found this Loyal To The Game review helpful

    Pros: 2-Pac himself

    Cons: Just about everything else

I just purchased this album today and as a young male who loves 2-pac and his music, I am very dissapointed at the quality of this album. I cannot believe that artists like Eminem, G-Unit, Obie Trice, and Jadakiss are on this album. I also cannot bel...ieve that Afeni Shakur allowed Em to produced the entire thing. Em and these other artists are obviously good, but they did not know 2-pac like the Outlawz did, who are the only guest artists that deserve to be on this album. There is also no gurantee that 2-pac would want to work with these artists. I understand that Interscope wants to make money, but they should have done it in the right way by not watering down the work. Even without the major artists, 2-pac still can sell alot of records. I listened to the album and it sounded nothing like a real 2-pac record. I could not even finish listening to it. Next time, I really hope that Afeni Shakur and Interscope think about the die hard fans like myself that are upset at how the work of 2-pac is being used to make money. But no matter what, 2-pac will always be the greatest of all time and we can always enjoy his other classic hits. Read more Less

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 26, 2004 | 1 out of 1 found this Loyal To The Game review helpful

Pros: Good lyrics, Nate Doggs on it

    Cons: no other serious rappers

I just got it and its good with out a doubt the 2 best songs are Ghetto Gosple f/ Elton John and Thugs get lonely too f/ Nate Dogg. I think it would have been better if Eminem didnt choose to put all of his new young age rappers on here! I mean we ne...ed some serious rappers, get some more West Side on here!! but anyway it was still good. Read more Less

ThUG LIFE!!!!!!!! YEEEE,,, Tupac -the lyrical lunatic ever to live on this planet earth. The best MC. Love him. I am sure the album will be awesome, but I wish he was alive with his new lyrics. He gave a whole spark for rap. His lyrics are incredibl...e, and his idea about THUG LIFE is nothing but true words coming out of a true G. Read more Less

    Pros: Tupac

    Cons: Commercialaztion

This album is jussa commercial thing, tupac reduced to the level of rappaz like eminem and fifty. The beats werent bad, and the raps fitted in except what eminem failed to realize that this was tupac, he didnt make songs like eminem and fifty for eig...ht year olds. This album is still a pleasure to lissen to, jus look pass who produced it and lisen to the lyrics and the flow of tupac. Read more Less

    Great album

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 27, 2004 | 1 out of 2 found this Loyal To The Game review helpful

    Pros: 2pac

    Cons: just one

2pac is one hip hop's biggest influences. This album has not only kept him alive throughout the year, but it also shows the real talent behind this mc. However, I thought it would've been better if they had different producers working on som...e of the tracks. Eminem did a superb job and the ones who collaborated were great. "Thugs get lonely too" with Nate Dogg is an interesting single. ""Crooked nigga too" has Pac rapping like a Madman and "Loyal to the Game Remix" is one of the best DJ Quik produced song. The bonus tracks pretty much reminds me of the original 2pac we know. Fans will love this album, but if u don't appreciate Eminem's beats, then its not for u. Read more Less
