This album is great! Every second you listen to it you can tell how much work G. Stefani has put into it. I am a big fan and have been since this was released and I went to see her on the Harajuku Lovers Tour.

What a way to start of her solo album. I was afraid she would be making us miss the No Doubt crew but she proved me wrong. L.A.M.B. was not a sacrifice but indeed a great offering to the history of music. Thought out the album I can here the sounds of the early 80's and late 70's synthesizer as well as a little of what was back then kicking in the underground Freestyle. She starts of this great feast with a tune called "What You Waiting For? This is a great way of bring back the past but not really losing who you are in the sound. Taking a sample and making it your own is hard. Unless your audience is 15 years old. Anyway a great example of the sampling and beat selection is in the track "Luxurious". In fact one of my favorite on the album. She could have added more stories to it but the sound makes up for that. Great sound Get it!
