    This release is FANTASTIC!!! Sherrie Austin has, without a question one of the best voices in music today. Powerful, yet warm. Each song on this CD is a masterpiece. All the songs are beautifully written and mixed. I'd rate it 10 stars, but it only ...lets me go up to 5, so 5 stars it is. Read more Less

    Let me listen to this one a little more. I know from her WORDS disc that I had to have more. If this one is like that one then the stars will pile up with continued listening.

  • All Music Guide

    Sherrie Austin's sophomore album, Love in the Real World is a bit of a disappointment. This sweet-sounding Aussie left us reeling for more after her first album, Words, but only teases us with her second. The album's first release, "Never Been Kissed" retains the bubbly and contemporary sound of her more popular hits from the first album, "Lucky in Love" and "Put Your Heart Into It." But Love in the Real World leaves it up to us to decide if she's actually singing country or pop. And trying too hard to be both, Austin makes us feel like she doesn't belong in either genre.
