She rocked this CD. She can sing, and she is actually talking about true love. She is in the category with Brandy, Aaliyah. How anyone can put her in a category with Alicia Keys, I don't know. Alicia is so phony is it awful. But Vivian is it. She is definitely not getting the recognition she deserves, she is so much better than some of the talent out her now, (alicia keys, monica, beyonce etc....)

I love absolutely everything about this CD. Vivian Green is talented beyond words. Her songs really chronicle a love story and take the listener on the journey through every emotion from optimistic hope to a hurtful breakup to finding the real thing. BUY THIS.

Have you ever picked up a book started to read it and just could not put it down? Listening to Vivian Green is just that. Her songs dab into several areas and you get a taste of different genre's out there that many artists fail to get into. Green is also a good writer. Emotional Rollercoster and No more sitting by the Phone keep your ears open and your ears shut. She makes you want to listen to what she is going through. Her voice is just as powerful. I can honestly say (and this is meant in a good way) that when Jill Scott decided to take a back seat, Vivian Green came along and took the wheel down the same path. Although they sound nothing alike nor do they look alike but there similarity goes much deeper than that. Like Scott, Green pulls you into her music. Her stories, the depth. It's outstanding. Singing about ordinary things and having the powerful voice to take the listener to the next level. With this album you get variety, a beautiful voice and lots of soul. Congrats to Green on a well delivered album. Get it if you like the way real music is making a come back.
