Pros: Lovely and Fresh Movie

Cons: Not enough interaction between Marty & Clark - until the end of the movie.

I loved this movie and I can't remember the amount of times that I have watched it.
Katherine Heigl & Dale Midkiff were perfect as Marty & Clark Davis.
I loved the story, there was tragedy for Marty in the beginning, but to find a man like Clark was Marty's salvation and to see how love did come softy to both of them was beautiful. The interaction between Missy and Marty was good and I enjoyed the funny parts - the skunk and also Marty trying to catch the chicken to make a meal.
I enjoyed this movie so much that I also bought "Love's Enduring Promise". I just wanted the movies with both Katherine & Dale in them and the movie itself was refreshing and no foul language was very good.
The movie was so lovely, I watch it over & over.

Pros: A Family GREAT!! Will fill the heart with joy

Cons: Nothing bad to say except it should be on at 8 pm not 12 am

I saw this last night on Channel 35 and I just had to find out what the name of the movie was. This will touch the heart and inspire you. I cried alot. I felt for Marty and that little girl. Are their really men like that out their? I couldn't watch the second part of the movie because it was on so late, but I will look for it to buy or on tv again. A Must see!!

Pros: Great for the whole family; refreshing for our times

Cons: there are no cons except we need more movies directed by Michael Landon Jr.!

What a wonderful and touching film which is for the whole family. I wish there were more movies like this one to be watched on a regular basis. The actors were wonderful and Michael Landon Jr. needs to make more movies because of his incredible talent and his ability to make family entertainment. I look forward to watching all of these sequels with my children.

Pros: She's just stunningly gorgeous.

Cons: They took the camera off her sometimes.

Katherine Heigl took this cheesy lifetime, monday afterschool movie, and made it spectacular. Why? Because I actually believed that this really hot chick could have been in the 1800s. She made me believe it. And THAT'S acting, friends.

I hope they write her a great movie someday, because she's definitely going to make it gold.

Katherine is not the norm for Hollywood; she has class, looks, charm, timing... i really could go on, but I haven't scene her likes in decades.

3 cheers to you girl for making my boring monday afternoon a day to remember.

Pros: Very Believable

Cons: Non

I found this movie to be far better than I even expected.

I read the book series by Janette Oke back in the late 80's and loved it.

The actors/actresses that were cast in this were very talented.

It's a wonderful film for the whole family which is hard to find these days without the occasional cuss or inuendo.

I'm hoping that the same actors/actresses will be cast in sequels, and that this film does very well so that they will be encouraged to make more.

I can hardly wait for the next one!
