Mizz Blige has shown some spiritual maturity here. The Queen still sparks her audiences with her vulnerabilities and still come out unscathed. Her vocal quality is tinged with pain, sorrow and wisdom. Even though the album contained too many samples, the overall album is a smash. Love @ First Sight was the jumpoff. It showcased her vocal expertise as engaging. Reuniting with the production prowess of Sean "P. Diddy" Combs served to be really fruitful. Every song deserves a thumbs up. Let Me Be The One w/50 Cent is a total disaster. She should had picked P.Diddy for that one, but above all, the production and vocal skills are top notch! Grab that cd! U will not be disappointed!

This album was so good. I think it might be one of Mary's best. you can tell she took a long time to work on it because every song is so good and top 10 worthy. The lyrics are so personal and its obvious that she wrote most of the songs because it reflects her life so much.

Once again Mary has given her true fans, like myself, what we have come to expect from her, a phenominal, real, and soulful music experience! Mary continues to grow and evolve and at the same time stay real and true to who she is. This is an excellent CD.

Love and life is yet another brilliant album by the queen. Along with all her other albums it's one you have to add to your collection. The album features many upbeat tempos but also has a couple of ballads. She is still on top of the game and continuouly shows that her title is well deserved. This album is definitely another My Life. If you don't have it yet make sure to get it. You will not be disappointed

If there was any question why Mary is the Queen of Hip Hop Soul "Love & Life" answers the question.Nobody is even close to Mary right now.She's in an arena all by herself.This album has all the elements of an R&B classic.In every song that Mary does you hear real emotion of whatever she's singing about.In this album I hear love,happiness and confidence in her voice.And I think anybody who has followed Mary's career will appreciate and respect the growth of Mary as a vocalist and a person.This album has something for every person and every mood you could have.
Some of the highlights on this album are the first two singles "Love @ 1st Sight" featuring Method Man and "Ooh!".And please don't sleep on "When We","Not Today" featuring Eve,"Willing & Waiting","Let Me Be The 1" featuring 50 Cent and "Friends" which are some of my personal favorites.And let me not forget the "Love & Life Intro" featuring Jay-Z and P. Diddy and the Interludes are so real and honest.
This album is the heat so go out and pick it up.I promise you won't be disappointed.Mary J. Blige is the Patti LaBelle of our generation.Mary is simply the TRUTH!

I absolutely love Mary J. Blige's new album "Love & Life." I have been a fan of hers ever since "What's the 411?" and Mary has never disappointed me. Not only does this album have several up-tempo tracks to dance to, but Mary has also included plenty of beautiful love songs like "Willing and Waiting." Mary is also not afraid to show her spiritual side, like in "Ultimate Relationship." That is what makes Mary such a versatile performer. I am a die-hard fan and Mary has delivered everything that I expected in this new album and more. Thank you, Mary!

I love MJB's new album. I think it is slammin, and she did an excellent job. I was glad to see Puffy and Mary back together again. Whoever don't have it, they need to go out and get it, NOW!

Diddy since 1994's award winning MY LIFE. Some of the standout tracks include "When We", "Don't Go", "ohh!", and "Love @ 1st Sight" featuring Method Man. My personal favorite is the Dr. Dre produced "Not Today" featuring Eve

I have been "Willing & Waiting" to cop Mary's latest CD for sometime now. When Aug. 26th came around, I was in the record store purchasing Mary's latest joint.
The CD has been in my disc player since then. From track #1 through track #18, Mary provides the banging joints and they hottest lyrics. No other hip-hop artist at the current time can top this CD.
You will not be disappointed on Mary's latest CD. There is something for everyone, from classic soul, to hardcore hip-hop, Mary covers it and words cannot express.
I also gotta give Mary a shout out on her recent performances...you doin' it gurl! So, when she tours to support this CD, go see Mary ya'll.

Mary J Blige has down it again but i was expecting anything less. Damn Mary I listen to this Cd on my way to school, in between classes, on my way home, and when i sleep. Love and Life is theraputic. Mary you've done it again congratulations

Mary has showcased her true talent and staying power on Love and Life. Each song is a treat to listen to, while giving a sneak peak into Mary's world. "Press on", is a song that shows Mary's strength, and "Ultimate Relationship" shows her growth. "Feel Like Making Love" is a song in which Mary proves why she's the Queen. Her vocals in this song are reminiscent of when she was young and tender during the My Life days (her second and most critically acclaimed album). "Not Today" feat. Eve, and "Let Me Be The One" are hip hop classics that will be kept on repeat. This album can honestly be played beginning to end without pressing the fast forward button. "When We", and "Willling and Waiting", are two songs that make you feel all good inside when listening to them. You will NOT feel disappointed in this album. Mary J. Blige is responsible with her music, and she holds onto her crown with a firm grip. Listen to this album from beginning to end preferalby with headphones. Study Mary's vocals, her range, her singing style, her soul, her strength, and her passion. Then you will realize why she is considered today's best. Love and Life is definitely classic Mary J. Blige that will shine among any cd collection. You will certainly not be disappointed!

this album is one that i cant stop listening to... if you watch the extra dvd included... youll find shes not out there to make hit songs with catchy beats. at some points mary feels the music so much she has to stop recording to cry because she means what shes singing and thats what brought me to enjoy her music even more. This album covers a lot more issues and its really easy to relate to...
