    Total disappointment

    Let me start by saying that this movie was so over-hyped, it made me sick. I was expecting a movie that was scary, suspenseful, had halfway decent special effects, and had a good plot. First, the plot was very unoriginal. How many movies have been... released in recent years about some person who seems innocent, but somehow finds out that he/she is supposed to be some evil figure or give birth or father such...etc. Very contrived. Let's see, special effects? Don't make me laugh. A toilet overflowing and a "ghost" person walking into a room with a knife. To tell the truth, this was a very shocking scene, only because it was so lame. Overall, I would say that this movie was a total waste of Winona Ryder's talent. I find it hard to believe that any movie producer or director would even allow his name to be used in the same sentence as this movie. This was definitely the most disappointing movie I have ever seen. I want full compensation for the time I wasted even watching this movie, much less the cost of buying this DVD. Read more Less

    I think lost souls was a very ood movie in the tradition of the exorcist. i love winona ryders acting. But it was lacking the mysterious suspencfull vibe like WHAT LIES BENEATH does. Over all id say it was a good movie.

    The Worst Movie

    This is probably the worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life. I cannot believe they got such big stars to be in this. No wonder Alfre Woodard petitioned successfully to get her name off of this horrendous train wreck. If one of the stars go...t her name taken off of the picture because she was ashamed of it, that doesn't say too much for the story. Read more Less

    I love the fact it was scary but not gory. Most movies now-a-days don't use art they use the "gore" and "sex" factor to sell movies. This movie was a very good piece of art.
