The Most Under Rated Hip-Hop Album of All-Time !

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 14, 2007

Pros: Original Gangsta Beats, Profound Lyrics, Superior Recording

    Cons: None

What more could you ask from an MC? "Ball" lyrically exemplifies the the true meaning of an MC in this project! He tells intricate and meaningful stories in the majority of the songs on both disc. He deserves much credit for the way he too...k a concept from Bobby Womack "Nobody wants you when your down and out" to make a very good original song of his own. This CD is one of the best hip hop productions I have ever heard on MID-GRADE HI-FI. The recording of this project is phenominal and very pleasing to the ear. The track entitled "I dont want to die" is worth national acclaim to America's inner city youth just for the profound message. Both disc are a pleasure to listen to from beginning to end! The title track "LOST" is funky as f**k. The synthesizer work that accompany's the hook taken from a Marvin Gaye song is awesome. The lyrics show much charisma in eightball's penmanship. The cd is truly worth the money!!!!! Read more Less

    Before selling out..

Pros: Ain't heard bonus cd, but rest is certified classic

    Cons: old school-- see below...

Those who can't stand to have some oldschool won't like listening to the whole thing, but will find many spots even they can groove to. With hot lyrics and sick beats, I list this as a certified classic.

    Eightball Lost

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 20, 2000

On this record, solo 8ball tells it how it is, on the streets, in the club, fake friends, strait up punks and busters. On this album he shows that he can rap alone, but remember that 8ball and MJG still remain as a group.
