Hailing from Baja California, los Tiranos del Norte comprised lead vocalist/bajosexto player Gustavo Cota, second vocalist Juan Luis Montaño, accordionist Omar Velazco, guitarist Luis "Memo" Bernal, bassist Ricardo Carrasco and percussionist Daniel Morales.
