    Love this cd, had it since it came out. The kind of music to put u in a romantic mood, well it does for me and i love her voice. Highly recommended

    Not her best album.......

    .....but still pretty darn good. Let's face it, this one of the sexiest women on the planet, and the fact she plays piano and sings makes her all the more attractive.As far as the album goes, I never cared for the song "Swonderful" so I don't like th...at the album opens up with it. "The Look of Love" is a little bit of a different sound for Diana and I think it came out very well. Still I would prefer her next album not include the orchestra. I like to her singing highlited rather than an orchestra. If your out to buy your first Diana Krall album I would recommend buying "When I Look In Your Eyes" first. That is her best album so far.     Diana has a smooth sexy voice as she takes on many jazz standards including "The Look of Love". Every tune on this album is a "winner". Krall continues to make herself known which new album. Great "lounge" music. "Put the lights down low and let ...yourself do alittle dreaming" as you listen to this album. It deserves to be one of the current top sellers in jazz! Read more Less

    A major disapointment. Her voice is completely lost on many of the tracks due to the orchestra. She really doesn't have the vocal chops to sing over an orchestra and I think the recording is poorly mixed. "I get along without you very well" is down...right dreadful and "Dancing In the dark" a close second. A very uninspired attempt at these songs. I like Diana alot and think she is so much better with a combo. Read more Less

    First of all, to me, Diana Krall is a jazz giant and I hate to see her forced to go this route. Clearly her recording contractors are putting her on a path to appeal to a much wider audience than just the true "jazz buff". Doesn't matter to me, thoug...h. I want everything this lady has ever done. I have heard her sing a lot better on her other albums. She, along with all the other great musicians she is working with on the album, seem totally stifled by the "soupy" orchestrations and general lack of good musical taste Read more Less
