Just when you think David Byrne can't possibley get any better, he produces the gem that is "Look Into the Eyeball." There is something for everyone here, and it contains some of the most beautiful music you will ever hear. This is a truly lovely C...D, and so fun as well. If you don't have this, you are really missing something...! Read more Less

    Weird, Wonderful, David Byrne

By Yahoo! Shopping User  May 11, 2001

The only message I can say is the album cover is too weird. It has a sleeve that has stripes on it. When you move the cd back and forth, his eyes open and close. You can also put the inside cover and back cover into this plastic "magic" sleeve, and t...he items(cups, flaming hands, etc)move and change! Way trippy:) Read more Less

    Solid, but not solid enough

By Yahoo! Shopping User  May 8, 2001

As much as I love David Byrne, I'm of half a mind to tell him to cease the solo career immediately. As near as I can tell, he's merely rerecorded the same solo album about four times over. If you want a nice Byrne solo album, pick up "Feelings," an...d leave it at that. Unless you count the Eno/Byrne album "My Life in the Bush of Ghosts." Read more Less

Exactly--where in the f____ are the samples? There are never any anymore so it seems that some elite group of pre-release album holders gets to rate them. F____in' wankers!

    Great After Five Plays

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Sep 21, 2001 | 0 out of 1 found this Look into the Eyeball review helpful

As with the Talking Heads, the songs on this CD must be played multiple times before they kick in. Then, you can't stop playing them. There are a few gems on Eyeball including Like Humans Do, The Accident, and Broken Things. UB Jesus is pretty cool... as well. Lots of use of percussion and strings. I saw David Byrne in concert in Pittsburgh this week. I like the CD even more now. This is a good one! Read more Less
