Pros: Good sound
Cons: Same song twice
This CD is good except for one reason. It is that the song "Someday" and "How You Remind Me" are the exact same music, but different lyrics, and in different albums.

I've been a huge fan of Nickelback ever since I bought Silver Side Up. I love the way they can use a hard grunge sound to drive Throw Yourself Away and a smooth clean sound in Someday that just sticks with you. For anyone who loves the sound of Chad's gravely voice or the great guitar parts of their great solo's this is a must have for fans.

Most likely you've heard the song How You Remind Me and the song on this cd, Someday. They are basically the same song. Nickelback should have never gotten away with that kind of cheating. Check out this site shite.co.uk/

Pros: When it ended
Cons: Ummm....
The single is one of the worst songs I've heard in a long time. It's one of the few that actually makes me change the radio station when I hear it. I actually like some of Nickelback's songs but do yourself and your wallet a favor and don't buy this. Musically it sounds like everything else out there and lyrically it could have been written by a retarded three year old on acid. If you want a good Nickelback album buy State.

Just to mention at the Start, But the Cover of Saturday Nights Alright(For Fighting) is a bloody awesome Cover song indeed.
And that just sums up this album. Starts Good. Ends Good.
This album proved that they had what it takes to produce another great album after Silver Side Up when it comes to the charts and the groupies that follow the Top 40.
My Only advice for those that have heard the Top 40 Songs, are to Buy this CD and listen to the other tracks.Was this review helpful? Yes - Nopretty damn good

i am not pickey when it comes 2 music at all i can tolerte pop rock, hard core, punk, ska, matal, if its rock, ill listen 2 it(except that avril crap, but htats pop not rock)and this cd has great lyrics w/ great music. the songs vary 4m betrayl, suicide(well, kinda), 2 regaining a relationship(i think) it was a good cd.

Okay...thi cd jus plain kicks ass, i think its one of there best cds and that it gonna be hard to get any better. Also, there last track, 'see you at the show' is probably one of there best songs ever written.

Pros: good heavy riffs with beat

Okay I heard the single 'Someday' saw it at the sotre for cheap and said yup, gotta get it. It's good...I still enjoy 'The State' the best but, this was quite well done. I can't say anything bad about Nickelback, they continure to put out quality stuff however they seem to be following a mold simular to AC/DC. Not really growing or experimenting, sometimes mind you that isn't such a bad thing. I'm a huge fan of Canadian bands and artists (ie. Matt Good, Our Lady Peace, Chantal Kreviazuk etc.) and I think I'd have liked to see Long Road follow a different formula for a few songs. They all sound simular; unlike Matt Good's incredible Avalanche that was a very different sound for him, Nickelback have chosen the straight and narrow on this CD. Not a bad thing, just was hoping for a little branching out. All in all very good CD. Recommended.

It starts fast with Flat on the Floor, and doesn't disappoint, puhing straight through with an astonishing power and speed that might leave you wondering where half the time went.

so far i have only heard someday and its sounds so good that im going out to buy it right now. i just love the singers voice he has one of the best voice out of all the bands that are out right now ever since i have heard there first cd i have been a big big fane so if this is your first time lissining to these guys you need to go out and buy there old cds to so dont wait around get the cds
