Cons: Some of the songs sound similar

This CD came to my attention after hearing the one of the songs on the TV mini-series 'Kingdom Hospital'. The song, "Worry About You" not only goes well with the show, it stands on it's own as a nice, simplistic, haunting piece... of music. The rest of the CD is well done, too, with several other standout tunes, including "Undertow", and "Disappointed". My only complaint is that there is a little too much of the same sound and the femal lead vocalist could have been used differently on a few tunes to stir up the mix. Overall, an excellent purchase! I think this cd is great. If you live in California, this would be great to listen to while cruising pacific coast highway. Or on a lazy day when you don't want to do anything but think of past happy experiances, mayeb not even think of anything at a...ll, just think. With songs like undertow and while we're in love, you can be quickly pulled into a day dream world. If you want to really enjoy this cd. play it in a good system or listen to it with ear phones. You can hear the subtle rythms come together better that way. Read more Less
