Pros: nice batterie life, and good sensitivity choice
Cons: not for gamers, to light, all plastic, grime builds up on it
If you are a gamer i would sugjest not getting this mouse.
1. dellay when your comp is under load
2. to light
3. plastic
4. pretty good feal
5. not enough bang for your buck
ps. advise for gamers get the g5 much better
Pros: LASER quality, long life battery, smooth glide
Cons: expensive, driver glitch in MS Excell
Pro:
- cordless, very ergonomic, very smooth glide on mouse pad.
- on-line adjustable resolution/sensitivity - default 3 steps or 5 custom levels - you have 2 buttons + (plus) - (minus). You can change the sensitivity right in the middle of the game !! Just press plus/minus. So you can use the higher sensitivity for fast moving and low level for sniping.
- LASER - better quality on any kind of mouse pad.
- rapid change of the recharcheable battery - just press eject !!
- mouse wheel with left/right scroll not just up/down scroll function.
- battery life - good enough. Is coming with 2 batteries - one will be allways into the charger. Battery-level indicator on the mouse (5 green LEDs) + sofware notification for critical low level.
Con:
- strange freezing or locked in left-button-pressed in windows XP after going in some sort of sleep mode.
- as May 2006 - kind of expensive mouse.
Update: Nov-05-2006 - After I uptaded the mouse driver ..never freeze / locked again. So they fix the bug.
Pros: Comfortable, lightweight, hot swap batteries, good range, quick dpi change, very precise
Cons: mouse wheel is difficult to press, drivers are terrible for games
This mouse is GREAT. I've had it for about 3 days, and the battery life is never a problem because the other battery is charged by the time I can use the other one, even after playing for 10 hours. The mouse is very accurate and responsive. I dislike the drivers because it makes the thumb mouse button unusable in many games unless you remap it to something obscure, which then makes it stop fucntioning as a back button in your browser. Back to the good things though... There is absolutely NO lag unlike early generation wireless mice. The way the dpi meter fades to the battery meter is pretty cool. I've used an MX510 for the past 2 years and this is the only mouse I've come across that was truly a step ahead. The MX1000 is alright, but it's a little heavy for my taste. This is the first wireless mouse that's responsive, light, and accurate that I've ever used. I can't praise logitech enough for the job they've done with it.
