Having owned this product for a couple of years, I felt the ball movement getting less smooth. Googling for a solution, I happened here. As another reviewer attempted, I looked at the bottom, trying to determine how to remove the ball. I guess I didn't read the manual... Fortunately another reviewer noted that the ball just pops out for easy cleaning. Indeed it does. Imagine what I discovered after a couple of years of use! Great easy-to-clean product.

Pros: lasts forever, healthy happy wrists

Cons: wife hates it (no good reason)

I hate using a traditional mouse after getting this. My trackman has lasted five years now, and it still works like new. I'm not sure what people are talking about with the cleaning issues, the ball pops right out for easy optical pick-up dusting. My wife hates using it for no real reason, so I guess the trackball style is not for everyone. But if you're even a little annoyed with your mouse, get this bad boy. You'll never look back. Guaranteed.

Pros: Less stress. Programmable buttons

Cons: Can't clean it.

This type of trackball is great because it puts much less stress on your wrist. If you tend toward carpal tunnel syndrome, this would be a great relief. It took a few days for my thumb muscles to get used to it, but after that it was stress-free. I had another version of Trackman before this one, and it lasted for many, many years. It had a ring around the ball that could easily be removed to clean the ball. This model does not have this, so you cannot clean it unless you take the entire thing apart. When I did that, a couple of little wire parts fell out of the inside, and I could not put it back together, so that was the end of it. I won't be buying this model again.

Pros: no mouse pad, wireless, thumb operated

Cons: may take time to get use to if you never had one

I've had my trackman for 2 years. My wife still uses the corded trackman I bought 5 years ago. This is a quality product. Once you get used to it you wont ever want to go back to a regular mouse. I have one for work too. I can't stand moving a mouse around my desk. The thumb operated trackball allows you to use the trackman without moving it around. It's perfect for every use.

I purchased my Logitech Cordless TrackMan Wheel mouse, cordless aprx 1 year ago. The ball stopped working and I took it apart and cleaned it. The springs (2)ea) popped out and I was unable to put back togeather.

I went to Greenhouse Co0mp, Nappanee, IN to have them re-assemble it. They said that they were unable to do so in that there were not prints on it. What do I do?
