Violently Funny
Pros: Acting, Location, Directing
Cons: Dialects tough but worth the effort
This is one of my addiction films. Those that I watch every time they come on TV. Of course, I own the DVD but I loan it to friends so much it is seldom home. A must for your library. My favorite character is Chris for his outstanding work ethic and integrity. Too good in too many ways.

I thought "Snatch" was great. This was better. I just saw it on BBC America. They didn't appear to edit anything out. So many plot twists and great acting. The ending is great (very British). I love a movie where there is no good/bad just degrees of bad. It was a great movie!

This movie from British Movie Director/Writer Guy Ritchie brek new filmaking artistic barriers. Creative dioalouge, inventive characters and a storyline that appeals and captures attention fuel's this filmographer-trick filled action/comedy to the max. A definite classic to be- if you see Snatch- see Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels.

This movie is the british answer to Pulp Fiction but let's stop the comparisons there.
Is it the incredible visual technique? London is captured perfectly; the card game mesmerizes. Is it the characters? You love them all; you root for them all. Is it the solid script? Is it the humor? Or the never ending comedy of errors?

This has got to be the best crime comedy of all time! Fantastic acting, great direction, funny as hell, etc... You can't stop praising this film. And I'm English and I own the Director's Cut!

One of the best films I have ever seen - a true classic. This film has everything - comedy, action, violence and drama. Some actors are real villians, so the film has great realism. There are thousands of memorable quotes, you will be recting them for weeks after the film!

This movie is one of my favorite movies. It has some of the most clever dialogue, cast, and plot I have ever seen! Everytime I watch it, I pick out more and more things that I didn't catch before. It is a really great movie!

The movie Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels is simply a comedy masterpeice, the greatest comedy I have watched ever.
Full of comedy, action, loansharks, good lines, great music, simply the English Pulp fiction but better. May be hard for some to understand especially because of the British accent(it was for me the first time I watched it)but once you watch it again you'll just speak the lines yourself. I watched the movie myself nearly 10 times and everytime i watched it, it just got better. I got all my friends to watch it too and we all agree, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels is the best comedy of the past three years. I love the movie so much that it was the first movie I watched after the New Year on Jan.1/2000. This is simply the best movie ever made. Much better than pupl fiction or resevoir dogs. Cleverly written and cleverly delivered. Everyone that I make watch it, falls in love with it. You must either rent it or buy it. You wont be disappointed

For a not to well known film, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels packs a powerful punch. Involving blood baths and a lot of cursing (as only the British can do); Lock, Stock, is definitely something different. Brutally honest and full of comedic twists, this movie is recommended for any one looking for a great movie that's in a class by itself.

This is a fabulous movie with intertwining story lines similar to that of GO, 2 DAYS IN THE VALLEY, & PULP FICTION. It's a story of money, lone sharks, hit men, dope dealers, etc. and the evident fact that it is a small world. I also love british comedy (Monty Python, Red Dwarf, Blackadder, etc.). It's the perfect blend of british dialouge, humor, and amazing plot.

A Tarantinoesque script filled with sharp, dark British humor and a fantastic climax. This film will thorougly entertain you; better the second time around when you get a stronger handle on the accents and subleties. Fantastic use of slo-mo mixed with an eclectic soundtrack. Plot thickens brilliantly throughout, you will not be disappointed.

I loved this movie. It's a relief to see such an excellent film actually making it pretty big. The story is well developed and has so many trilling twists. The filming is equally as thrilling with great slow-mo effects and striking angles. Though the appearace is very dark, it's still full of comedy. It's been compared to Pulp Fiction, which is fair, but it's still can stand on it's own because the cineamotography is still different from Tarantino's style. A definate must have in any flim goers collection.
