Maybe the best Guns N' Roses Live album.
Yeah Axl is screaming and does the best he can.
Slash and the others are doing there parts like they were in heaven.

Your definition of the typical Rock n Roll Concert. A good album. It's a shame that Izzy's guitar sounds wasn't heavier, but thumbs up to the band. Paradise City was kinda rushed and sounded a wee bit different from the original, but I did enjoy the album. The idea of putting reggae(Knockin on Heavens Door) and jazz(Move to the City) gives reason as to why I gave it 4 and not 5 - it screws up the songs and the fact this is a rock band not a bloody jazz band!!!!

This is a must for GNR fans, a lot of classics are here and the sound of GNR live is captured. If you have never seen Axl live, this will give you some idea of what you are missing.

Well it does sound a bit aghdjkasdgj but still it's great.All the songs are great,especially instead of the acoustic version 'used to love her' it's outstanding,Axl's vocals a bit to.... you know like he's havin' throat cancer or somtin'
but but but but the albums great,i love to hear again n' again Knockin' on Heavens Door, the guitar works is terrific.......aaaahhh well got to go.

It was good to see a new Guns N Roses product while we wait for the Chinese Democracy to be released. Both CD's of the Live Era are great and should be included in every fans collection.

Guns n' Roses live in tokyo,like estranged, pretty tied up,move to the city....

After five years of silence, "Guns N' Roses-Live Era '87-'93" is released. This is exactly what was needed. A live album, of performances all around the world from the Gunners. Well produced and a great throwback to the good ol' days as well as a precursor for the upcoming album "Chinese Democracy."

This CD is one of the best CD i have ever listened to in years. I maybe only 15 years old but Ihave listen to many CDs , and this is by far the best. It has a varity of different music changes.
By this I mean one song is hevay metal and the next is slow and mellow.
But this Cd is not for every body but

The fans waited anxiously to see what had happend to the great guns and roses.They hadnt heard anything from them for years then out of the blue comes the greatest collection of songs ever.The album may contain loads of songs from appetite but that is the best album in the world.People can say what they want but axel is the greatest,people slag him off but why he produced the best down-to-earth music around.This is one album im gonna listen to for a long long while.

This live cd is AWESOME!! Its a shame these guys broke up! It recaptures the good ole days when gnr were the best rock n roll band ever and in my opinoin they still are the best.

Live Era is a welcome addition to my Cd collection,although i wish AXL would get his s**t togeather and release Chinease Democracy. There are some cool additions on this album like 'I'TS ALRIGHT', the part on the first Cd where AXl tells everyone to step backwards as everyone is getting crushed at the front and the crowd particpation in 'KNOCKIN ON HEAVENS DOOR'.
If you are a G N' R fanatic then this is for you but if you are expecting something special forget it.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoMay be last real album
Thanks God, they finaly relise something. I don't know how will sound their upcoming album without Slash. So, if you wish to hear real GN'R , get this album. It's already historical.

it captures the energy and the emotion of what guns n' roses was and hopefully will be all about !
all the problems in the band have not marred the excellence of this album.
who knows, maybe axl and slash will resolve their differences and produce an album of true, unwashed rock n' roll again and make their legend even bigger!

Axl first has all of the old members of GNR removed and then to make money releases a double live album so that he can make some money!!! If You Read the album notes, Matt Sorum Gilby Clarke and Dizzy Reed aren't even considered part of the band! Instead he usesSteven Adler (Who dissappeared earlier) and Izzy Stradlin, who also dissappeared without touring after Use Your Illusion I and II. Steven Adler and Izzy Stradlin didn't even tour with them except in '87, and the other guys who did tour are:"Additional Members"
