    "Live at the Birchmere" is an absolute bluegrass classic. Every rendition is absolutely brilliant. The Flatt and Scruggs classic "We Can't be Darlings Anymore" is given an energetic reading here. What follows is an absolutely stunning version of "Hig...hway of Sorrow." This, for my taste, is the all-time greatest rendition of the Monroe classic, and Dudley Connell does a superhuman job of singing this one. "Wasted words," "Making up Stories," and "She's Young and I'm Growing Old" are all spectacular,although so, for that matter, is everything else. Give these jerks your money and get the damn thing.
