As Good As It Looks
Pros: Lots of action,

This isn't one of those oscarpwinning, 3 hours soap operas that do little more than talk. This is old school 80's action. Mindless violence, awesome special effects, with enough one-liners to keep you glued until the next action scene. Not many movies are made like this anymore, get it while you can.

If you like the Die Hard series, then chances are you will love this movie. In this 4th installement we see John McClain working as a detective in the NYPD who as usual ends up getting pulled into something larger than life in part due to his family, this time his college-age daughter. This time he is working to stop a network of home-grown terrorists who literally want to destroy the U.S. and its up to our hero to stop them before its too late.
People looking for realistic plots and fight scenes should probably steer clear because as is the norm in the Die-Hard series John McClain is Superman-like in his ability to walk away from the most harrowing and improbable situations. But the movie moves quickly and I didn't check my watch once (the best indicator of a movie's appeal in my opinion). The special effects are great as always, the dialogue is witty and snaps and the acting is good.
Bottom line: If you want a good action movie with a lot of things getting blown up, snappy one-liners, and good triumphing over insurmountable odds, you should definitely check it out. Great movie. Good acting with Bruce Willis and Justin Long trying to find and stop the cyber-terrorists. While the "Bad Guys" led by actor Timothy Olyphant's character Thomas Gabriel try to seek revenge on the Government. Overall, a very awesome story.

THis movie is an awesome movie. the action was really good. THis movie was the best DieHard since the first one. It was done really well. shouldnt have to say much mroe then that. just buy it, well worth the money.

I watched this movie a few days ago and it was so awesome!!! I thought the ending was a little typical (the main character saves his loved one and nobody on the good side dies and the bad guy dies) but it all happened in an awesome way. so overall I give this a 5 star because it was awesome!!!

It was a good movie, worth the time for watching it. My only problem with it is that it could have been a standalone movie. Noone returns to the movie from the previous movies. There is a daughter that plays a major role that was only seen in the first movie previously, but it is essentially a new character.

Pros: Action Packed
Cons: Ending not as dramatic as I thought, but it was still good!!!
Movie was awesome. I didn't think they could make another "Die Hard" movie and top the previous makes, but they did it!! Very intense at moments and comical with Bruce's catch phrases. I highly recommend this one.

Number one is still the best (it set the standard), two was mediocre (at best), three wasn't bad (Sam was excellent - as always), and four Kicks Ass. Len Wiseman cranks the action way up, and the actual story isn't that bad either. The dialogue's original and funny (it won't win any Oscars, but that's a good thing). If you want to buy or rent an Action movie, check this one out, you won't be disappointed.

Live Free or Die Hard was a great movie in my opinion...It ranks as my #1,which is tied with the 3rd and 1rst one... The action was the best out of all the movies..The only real drawback was that there was not enough talking from Bruce Willis..He talked a little but not enough. The other complaint is that main villain. Never once did I not think that John could defeat him, he was ok but no as good as the other bad guys...Great action,humor,storyline...

I loved this movie. I just felt like some of the stunts that were done were just too unrealistic. There is no way he would have survived through alot of it. I mean he's a person not Superman. But other than that...Great Story...Good graphics...Wonderful movie!!!
