If this was a underachieving album, how does this album maintain a staying power? It's simple, 1990 was the year that George Michael turned his music into a different direction.

This album never made it big, which is a pity. I'm not a major George Michael fan, but this is *the* best of his albums. It's soulful and mellow, and has amazing lyrics. On my top ten list, definitely!

I don't really think many people know that there is an album by George called Listen without Prejudice.....

This CD is my favorite guilty pleasure, mostly because Im not a big GM listener. Great soulful bass and drum grooves on most of the tracks. Mature thoughtful lyrics on subjects of independence and the importance of relationships with people and/or God. Influences of Stevie Wonder, The Jackson Five, and the Stones are self-evident. Cowboys and Angels is a smooth gem and least heard on radio. An impressive solo project where GM plays all instruments, also creating the symphonic arrangements on sythesizer.
