Synopsis: Lionheart (1991)

Lyon Gaultier deserts the French Foreign Legion in North Africa when he learns that his brother in Los Angeles has been seriously injured. Fleeing from the Legion's Security Forces, Lyon turns to the illegal, bare-knuckle underground fighting circuit to raise the money he needs to help his brother's family.

    In Australia, this film is known as Wrong Bet, and is one of Van Damme's best. Many say acting is not one of his more popular talents, those people should see this movie before they judge so harshly.     Over here in the Uk this film's called AWOL. Along with Bloodsport this is Van Dammes best film. This is when Van Damme actually made good quality fight films
