Pros: Looks nice
Cons: Other than looking nice...
***Every time you call for help whatever the issue is, Cisco will charge you!!***
Reasons of my ratings:
Compatibility:
I have 3 computers (2notebooks and 1desktop), it only works with my Vista notebook but wireless connection goes on and off even though my notebook is right next to the router.(maybe it's too close,,,, yea right.) My other notebook with XP does not work (wireless).
Durability:
I just bought it so I don't know yet...
Ease of Use:
It is so hard for it to get it work. Also their IP adress sometimes does not work. Seems like other poeple have same problems(I checked other reviews).
Features:
They do not fix any of my wireless connection problem so I give 1/5.
Quality:
Since it is so so hard to config for amateur, I give 1/5 but nice looking though.
Support:
I would LOOOOOOVE to give 0/5. Every time you call for support, you are charged $10. I mean 'every time' even if router breaks and trying to find out why it does not work. $10! You need support on how to setup, $10! When the internet goes down another $10. Wow, I wish I was rich and didn't care about every $10 they charge but I do. So I give 1/5(0/5 actually). Maybe because I know some other companies do not charge for setup issue.
Value:
The router is not functioning how it is supposed to work such as my notebook not going wireless, I give 1/5.
*I hope this review can help other amateur*
Pros: Excellent basic router, decent range
Cons: There are better decent G routers out there
Had a Dlink DIR-615 Wireless draft N router. It was pure hell to setup. Was on the phone with tech support for nearly three hours but finally got it setup. But trying to get other devices connected to the network was nearly impossible with calling tech support. I finally decide to replace it the refurb from Newegg Linksys WRT54G2 router. I am completely new to networking so I was dreading the whole setup debacle. Installed the easy wizard CD and followed the setup instructions and WHOLLA I was setup in 5 MINS no tech support at all. Conect all my wireless devices to router without any issues at all. Range was very good, covered a 2000sqt home and all of the front and most of backyard yard effortlessly. Lost a little speed compared to Dlink but a whole nicer product.
