The first in the new Instant Broadband series, this Linksys broadband router will enable home or office users to connect their computers to a cable or DSL modem and securely share Internet access and perform networking tasks such as file and printer sharing. The built-in hardware firewall gives users the security of sharing files without fear of intruders hacking into the network.

    After getting DSL we decided to get a router so we can have multiple computers on the DSL. The sales guys handed us the D-Link 604 and it sucked!!! It was so hard to install! After three weeks of trying to get it to work we finally gave up. I searche...d the web and found that the Linksys Instant Broadband EtherFast Cable/DSL had great views so we went and bought it. IT WAS WELL WORTH IT! Right when we got home we set it up with the easy installation CD. We only had to change the internet setting and that was it. For even myself (an intermediate computer user) it was simple. I really recommend this product!!! Read more Less

    Plugged mine in and it pulled an IP automatically. My 2 computers pulled their IPs from it, and I was up. Very very painless install.
