Pros: Simply great songs from Wayne like "Get off the Corner".
Cons: Some songs seem throwed together.
This CD is a must have. "Get off the Corner" is up there with "The Block is Hot". Its a classic with M. Fresh beats and the guest appearences from the crew. Its has all the components of a great album. "Grown Man" is notable.
Pros: good

Lil Wayne can rap hell of good the best song on the album is shine and the best part on shine is Turk part he can rap real good to and he is so fine he is the finest of them all!!!!
Rap sucks. These so called "MC's" are nothing more than poets making scads of money because they can write a poem laced with explitives. Big deal. I could do the same thing. Granted, I am white and would sound horrible rapping, but I could write worthless lyrics that are better and more coherent than most rappers. I would just throw in the mandatory f-word 1000 times, talk about "slapping my ho" and "flossing my ice," and I would fit right in. Rap is a poor excuse for music.
Hmmm, how can i put this, not as hot as the block, but it's was a-ight.
What a perfect example of the lack of creativity and inteligence in mainstream music. This is not a Hip Hop record but a played out pop record. How is Cash Money or Lil Wayne any different from N'Sync or The Backstreet Boys. They both make pop music, they both market their music to the MTV tenni bopper crowd, and both refuse to put any thoaght or soul into what they call music. Lil Wayne and everyone on Cash Money for that matter, have absolutely zero creative, or lyrical ability. These rhymes are identicle to the "bling bling" "big Baller" lyrics that every Cash Money artist uses. If you wan't to hear dope lyrics check out Rakim, or Big L, not these fake ass, wannabe MC's. And the beats which all these fake Hip Hop fans claim are so amazing are also wack. Manny Fresh is a less than average producer and all the beats are similar, and all have that repetative snare drum that all southern rap albums have. What ever happened to trying to write something creative? What ever happened to writting something inteligent and thoaghtful? Hip Hop is not, nor was it ever about, how much money you have, or how many jewels or cars you have. Hip Hop is about writting creative music that comes from your heart and is derived from your emotions. But Cash Money is not worried about creativity they are just worried about making a buck by selling their weak ass music to middle american teenagers, and trying to pawn it off as real Hip Hop Music. Instead of doing what everyone else is doing by going for the mainstream, why doesn't Cash Money try breaking new ground, and trying something new. No one ever remembers albums because they were similar to all other albums at the time, albums become classics because no one else at the time had that particular sound. Look at classics like Ready to Die, It takes a Nation of Millions, or 36 Chambers. All at the time were new and inovative sounds in Hip Hop and will be remembered forever. And how long will Cash Money last if they stay with the mainstream, eventually even the rich, teeni boppers, who buy this trash will get tired of it because it all sounds the same, and when that happens Cash Money will be
