    you can't ask for much more in a band. The Sugarcubes have it all. They've got charm, wackiness, style, and of course, their biggest asset Björk. Songs like "Birthday" and "Delicious Demon" are guaranteed to please while other great tunes like "deu...s" may take a little time to grow on you, but don't worry, they will. This B52-like band was the last thing anyone expected to come out of Iceland, but you know what's even more unexpected to the Sugarcubes novice? Björk rocks. Read more Less

    wow the sugarcubes rock! i'm all into bjork, i bought Gling-Glo and then Life's Too Good. For the bjork fan, it's truly pleasing, as her vocals are in the front and they're very distinguishable in that bjork fashion. the lyrics keep with the later b...jork vein, with a pop-ish yet enigmatic and thought provoking twist.birthday and deus are among my favorites right now.it deserves at least a listen or two.
