    Pros: All

How the life could be beautiful without faith, love and sharing? Behind the smile would be teardrops, but we believe in smile...:-))

    foreing films

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jun 27, 2003

First of all it is one the best films I have seen in awhile. It's truely a wonderful movie that shows how life is really like. Life is not always about happyness, although hollywood makes it seen like it. Most of hollywood's film are about... how life really sucks and then everything turns out to be ok at the end. Fimls about reality make you happy and at the same time sad, that's why foreing filmsbrings out the best of both worlds. Read more Less

    A Masterpiece

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Feb 9, 2003

Life is Beautiful is truly a great movie. Roberto Benigni (spelling?) definitely distinguished himself with this fabulous work. I was disappointed when the stupid Hollywood wannabe artists mocked for his poor English at the Oscar's (I believe it wa...s the Oscar's). Last I heard none of those assholes spoke a foreign language. Their jealousy, ignorance, arrogance, greed, & lust for power and attention is pathetic & was evident and on display to the American people that night. We need another McCarthy Trial in Hollywood. It needs cleaned up! 99% of the Hollywood community is openly anti-American, socialist, & elitist. Go to hell Alec Baldwin and Kim Bassinger! I hate you George Clooney! Move to Iraq Susan Sarandon! And can you believe that guy that used to be married to Madonna and went to Iraq to suck off Saddam. I saw through him and everyone else that was involved in the movie Platoon. That was the most anti-American film ever made perhaps. None of you Hollywood idiots have my attention anymore. Benigni (spelling?) has more dignity than those idiots. I would like to believe that he is not against our upcoming action against Saddam. I would be disappointed to learn otherwise. Either way, it's just refreshing that talent can succeed outside of the Hollywood machine. I hate everyone in Hollywood for the most part. I often wish California, Oregon & Washington would sink into the ocean, much as the artwork in Tool's album, entitled "Aenima". Bye-bye Left Coast! I live in Red America. Don't know what that is? Look at a county by country map of the results for the 2000 presidential election. You will see a sea of red, with blue (indicating Gore/Lieberman) up in New England, New York and of course the Left Coast. I'm thinking the people of New York City may vote a bit differently in the future. I think that's what Hollywood needs...a good aenima. Roberto Benigni and others are giving it to them, too. Oh, yeah, Howard Stern Rules! Read more Less

Movie was OK, but too slapstick!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Aug 13, 2002

I was mildly entertained but nothing more. Not sure if the main character was trying to be a comedian in the beginning or if that was how he acted in all his films.

Watch it if you have nothing better to do!

    movie making at its best

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Aug 8, 2002

This film was amazing in all senses of that word. I was awed by the mastery of film making and I think everybody should watch it. Perfect blend of comedy and tragedy. This film evokes so many emotions in its viewers and whoever didn't like this movie... is obviously too narrow minded and has watched to many idiotic films to know the difference between the art of film and the joke that the majority of films today are, especially in America.
