"Can't none of ya'll read???"
Pros: Classic Murphy
Cons: No part II!
I used to work at a detention center, and on fridays we would watch movies. We watched Life over a million times, and laughed HARD each time. Even when the students recited every line, we still laughed. The funny thing is I watched it when it came out-and enjoy it now more than then.

Cons: Not many people get their comedic styles
This movie is a "must have" for those of you who like to laugh. There many funny lines in this movie that my co-worker and I quote on a regular basis. Many people don't understand their comedic styles. I've watched this movie at least 10 times.

This film stars Eddie Murphy & Martin Lawrence as two men who are wrongfully convicted of a murder. They're sentenced to spend the rest of their lives in a Southern prison. This film follows their friendship and the 55 years they spend together. The film is a nice mix of comedy and drama, even though the comedic and dramatic parts miss the mark every now and then. The film is set in the early 1930's and goes on from there. Also starring are Obba Babatunde, Bernie Mac and Miguel A. Nunez jr. Don't expect to laugh out loud, but do expect some mild entertainment. Recommended.

I've seen the movie a number of times, so I knew I would enjoy the film. The thing I have a problem with is/was the DVD itself. It was very very jerky...Buyer BEWARE!!!!

I thought this was one of the funniest movies I seen ever. Sure there was a confusing plot but that was made up by the agrueing and jokes made between Martin and Eddie.

To be honest, I thought the movie was garabage. I couldint even finish it after trying to watch it TWICE! A weak pathetic plot and a shameful role for Murphy and Lawrence.

I liked such things as "The Nutty Proffessor" but the movie life was like watching the waste things that have come from Martin Lawrence.
