Synopsis: Liar's Moon (1982)

Jack (Dillon), a simple local boy, falls in love with Ginny, the wealthiest girl in town. Although their parents try to keep them apart, the couple is drawn closer and closer together, and finally elope. The couple then become trapped in a web of jealousy and hidden family secrets. A bittersweet romantic drama featuring Dillon in one of his first roles.

    Pros: Really evokes the period and great actors

    Cons: A bit of soap opera

    Seems like Romeo and Juliet in Texas with a warm feel for the period and top notch acting. Great production values for a low budget movie.

    I first saw this movie as a young girl, and I have to say..I have watched it at least twice a year since. I just love it...By the way it has two endings....I have seen both (one is happy and one is sad)
