    the Butch is back!

    Pros: amazing lyrics and very catchy

    Cons: not as heavy as expected

    at first i was a bit confused. butch not rocking out with devil horns in the air? no screaming guitars and def leppard chorus? then i thought about it....this guy has been doing that for years.....he just did a full on acoustic tour....just him and h...is guitar. that's where it's all coming from (that's what i think anyway).after a few listens....i'm in. it's a great record. he really did some "new" stuff for butch on this album. i bought it the day it came out and have listened to it every day since. i support it 100%....besides he's a cool guy and from atlanta! rock on wif yo bad self mr. walker!     Pros: the lyrics are more at home than any other band out there

    Cons: a little softer butch but good

    I feel that letter is going to be one of the best unknown cd this year. Butch was playing music out side his time with marvelous three and know that time has caught up with him he is making great music with a great ear for music. Along with havign ...catchy tunes as mixtape to a great ballad as thank-you note you can not go wrong with this cd. It is good from start to finsh. Read more Less

    Pros: Catchy songs, strong lyrics

    Cons: the hidden track was hidden and I have to skip to it every time I wanna listen to it

    This album is a great rock/pop, powerpop (whatever you wanna call it) album. Great piano and creative lyrics, Butch is the man!!

    The Best Thing That You Must Have

    y-brain feel to all of his songs

    Cons: a bit more softer than before, but still great

    "Letters" has been my best album purchase this year. So the sound of it might be a little different from "Left of Self-Centered" it is nonetheless an excellent edition to him and an excellent edition to myself. The album is full o...f hard-hitting emotional songs that feel so real that it'll grab you by the ankles, i absolutely adore the way Butch recorded this album. "Letters" shows that it doesn't get any more real than what Butch had laid out, and it shows through his lyrics, through the tone of the songs, and the outstanding vocals. A great musician, singer, songwriter, and producer of our time. I highly recommend that anyone and everyone should go out and buy this album if you haven't already, you won't regret it.     You Must Own This CD!

    A friend of mine introduced me to Butch Walker just a few months ago, and I'm so glad he did! I remembered Freak of the Week by Butch's former band The Marvelous 3, but, though a catchy tune unto itself, it's nothing compared to the vast ...array of Butch and Marvelous 3 songs around. Letters is quite possibly my favorite album ever. I love Don't Move. Other great songs off this album: Joan, Thank-You Note, and (hidden track) State Line. So sad! Promise is also an excellent ballad: "I promise I can love you, just like a man. Promise I can hold you like nobody can."It doesn't get any better than this album. Read more Less

    Once again Mr. Butch delivers the goods.
    A bit softer than alot of his earlier works..
    but at least as good.
    If you are into deep lyrics and great melodies
    do yourself a favor and buy this disc.
    You will not regret it.

    Pros: Great music, only 10 bucks

    Cons: Only 1 Really Hard Track

    Butch Walker has toned it down a bit from "Left of Self-Centered" or any of his albums from the Marvelous 3 but still writes great lyrics and has great music to back it up. Saw him in concert and it was the best live show i've ever seen.... Give him a chance in your CD player~JawZ Read more Less

    Butch Walker is a great musician with an unusual lyric style. “Letters” is toned down compared to his previous recordings and definitely worth your money. So go out and buy it. I have repeatedly listened to “Letters” all week at work. And I li...ke “Maybe It’s Just Me”, “Mix Tape”, “#1 Summer Jam”, “Best Thing You Never Had”, “Race Cars And Goth Rock”, and “Thank-You Note”.Plus, go see him in concert if he comes near your town.
