Jet Li's Big Hollywood Break
The fourth enstalment in the popular action series directed by Richard Donner and produced by Joel Silver is the most entertaining one yet. Lethal Weapon 4 continues six years later from the 3rd, Riggs (Mel Gibson) is going to be a father, Murtaugh (Danny Glover) is going to be a grandfather and there is even the chiming of wedding bells for Riggs and Lorna Cole (Rene Russo). Leo Getz (Joe Pesci) is back and funnier than ever, only this time he has now achieved his way into becoming a P.I. and now has a possession of a gun (oh how he has been dying for that day to come). The gang is now joined by junior detective Lee Butters (Chris Rock) who when teamed up with Leo, the results are absolutely side-splitting. The entire gang is now up to infiltrating a counterfeiting ring run by Chinese triad Wah-Sing Ku (the ever amazing Jet Li) who proves to be the toughest of all adversaries.
Critics have hailed the Lethal Weapon series but have somehow only hailed this one because of the energetic Jet Li who breathes life into what seems like a tired franchise. This I believe is only half true, as all actors do give hilarious and commending performances, but the key to this movie is Jet Li, who showcases his unmatchable martial arts expertise as he does in all his other classics. Although all actors are heavily envolved, Jet Li tends to steal every scene he is in and proves to everyone what we already know, that he is a tremendous actor and the best martial artist alive today. lethal weapon 4 is so much better than the first 3 because since chris rock is one of my favorite comedians, he's really funny in this one! And cause jet li is in it also, it has more fighting with him and mel!

This is the first movie that Jet Li really plays a bad guy instead of being the hero all of the time. And being this the first time he did just as exceptional as he does when he is playing a hero. I think he needs to play parts as a bad guy again or one of those parts where is the bad and good guy. As to the review of "Good News" , I personaly think a fight between Jackie and Jet would have to be a draw.

in this movie u see one of the best actors in the business do his normal thing: kick serious anus. he is the man. highly recommended... it is hilarious too, not to mention all the action. Chris Rock made me laugh.. enjoy!

This was a pretty kick ass movie but lethal weapon has pretty much been the same since the very first one. You would think that they would throw is some good special effects and music, But no they want to keep it origanal. Other than that the action was awesome, the comedy was hip and the story line was not half bad. I just wish that Jet Li would say more so you could get attached to his character. He is pretty much a mindless killer. Rent it at least, its good.

this is without a doubt the best in the lethal weapon pack. jet li adds a lot to the action of this DVD, and the plot is quite interesting. unlike most followups Lethal Weapon is just getting better...a must for ANY DVD collector. A++

this is perhaps the best in the lethal weapon series -- jet li is a great addition to the team. the bonus materials on the dvd are fantastic; all of the series' movie trailers, featurettes that are actually interesting, deleted scenes, cast interviews, commentary by richard donner, and more. a must own.
