Actor Leo V. Gordon was trained for his craft at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. In films from 1954, Gordon was usually cast in brutal bad-guy roles, e.g. John Dillinger in director Don Siegel's ">The Intruder (1962) as the fair-minded Southern sheriff whose honorable behavior during the court-ordered integration of his town nearly results in his death.
