Israeliborn singer/songwriter Leerone hails from Los Angeles. Citing influences such as Carole King, PJ Harvey, and Tori Amos, Leerone's mature vocals highlight a theatrical mindset. In 2003, Leerone selfreleased the In This Life, on This Road EP. Two years later, she issued the very candid Hail to the Queen album.
