Studied at Oxford University, comp. with J.W. Duarte, Vincent Persichetti, Hall Overton, Jacob Druckman, Emmanuel Ghent. Plays guitar and lute. Worked at Bell Labs from 1973-74 and in computer graphics. Created computer music program Music Mouse which eliminates reliance on keyboards, sampled or acoustic sounds.
