Synopsis: Last Hero in China (1992)

Another in a long series of adventures starring Li as Chinese folk hero Wong Fei-Hong (such as the blockbuster "Once Upon a Time in China" franchise). Here, the legendary anti-colonial kung-fu master tries to prevent the Boxers from profiting on their female slave trade. Director Yuen Woo Ping also choreographed the fight scenes in 1999's blockbuster THE MATRIX.

    The chicken vs the centipede!!!

    Jet Lee stars as Wong Fei Hong in another crisis with the government. Classic fighting scene when he figures out how to beat the centipede (group of men that draw strength from one another and dress as a centipede) in a match to win the banner. Great... for any DVD collection. Read more Less

    This is one of Jet Li's great classics. Great acrobatical skills... sometimes the acrobatics are too great and it seems cheezy, but just try not to be too critical. It's one of my favorites. I like it in the end when he fights the 'boss' of the mo...vie and the boss starts crying... heheh, If you're going to get a Jet Li movie then get this one. I recommend Black Mask and Fist of Lengend as well. Read more Less
