Pros: In depth program about Larry legend
Cons: Times in at only an hour and left me wanting more
This program was good, but left me wanting so much more! It clocks in at only 1 hour and it easily could have been 2 hours. It's been 25 years since Larry entered the league and it would have been nice to see an updated version with footage from his induction to the hall of fame, some t.v. spots that he did and some information/clips from his coaching days or retirement of his number. This left all that out. Bonus DVD has three games of footage from some of his greatest performances, but I only saw one on the menu and couldn't even figure out how to scroll to the second game. Do you have to watch the first one before the others show up on the menu? I remember Larry for his great performances in the 3 point contests and we got about 10 seconds of footage of that. I mean this guy told the other NBA players he was going to win the contest and then proceeded to go out there and win it. Why can't we have something like that on a Larry Bird DVD? This was nicely packaged (looked good to me) but if it said on the box that this was only an hour (not including the games) I would have saved my money. ...
